is choreographed by renowned choreographer and Artistic Director of Canada’s Ballet Jörgen, Bengt Jörgen, and takes its inspiration from Group of Seven paintings housed at Kleinburg’s world-renowned McMichael Canadian Art Collection.  The famous Canadian landscape paintings showcased in stunning 30 foot backdrops are complimented by over 100 richly colourful costumes designed by Sue LePage.  The magical dream journey begins on Christmas Eve 1912 in Bisset, Ontario where newly arrived Klara experiences winter landscapes filled with snowflakes, lumberjacks, Mounties and creatures of the woods. Local dance students who auditioned for their roles will dance as some of the creatures of the woods alongside members of the company at both Centrepointe Theatre and Shenkman Arts Centre performances.
