The Ottawa Chamber Music Society’s most important fundraising event this year is Chamberfest Uncorked: Wine Auction and Tasting taking place at the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre on May 22nd 2013. Generous donations of fine wines from around the world and luxury items provided by community supporters will be auctioned off throughout the evening.
Guests are invited to enjoy some local minstrels; savour artisan wines from the Grange of Prince Edward, Harwood Estate, Long Dog Vineyard & Winery, and Lighthall Vineyards; and enjoy oysters on the half shell courtesy of Whalesbone Oyster House.
The event will begin at 6pm with a silent auction. A live auction of fine and unique wines will begin at 7:30pm led by Dennis Saikaley,Ottawa’s leading auctioneer for wine events. Some featured lots include paintings and photography, generously donated by renownedOttawaartists Philip Craig, Jordan Craig, and Shannon Craig Morphew.
Tickets for the event are $35.00. All proceeds will benefit the Ottawa Chamber Music Society’s artistic programming, education and outreach initiatives.
