EMC News, By Phil Ambroziak

A parade of Italian cars will once again make its way up Preston St. this weekend as part of ongoing Italian Week festivities.

There’s still a chance to experience a taste of Italy right here at home.

The 36th annual Italian Week, which actually kicked off June 6 with an Italian Night at Rideau Carleton Slots, continues throughout the rest of this week and this weekend with events fit for the whole family.

Although a great number of events have already been celebrated since Italian Week began June 6, the excitement continues today (June 17) with a 6:30 p.m. boat cruise on the Ottawa River featuring dinner and a live band. On Friday, June 18, the fun gets underway along Preston St. beginning with a Ferrari festival along with a series of performances on the main stage at the Adult High School.
