[Press Release: Sparks Street Promenade]
We’re celebrating Canada’s favourite dish in the heart of the Nation’s Capital!
The curds will be flying at the first annual Poutine Fest on Sparks Street Promenade taking place Friday November 15th to Sunday November 17th. 20 vendors along with the restaurants of Sparks Street will be dishing out fries, curds, gravy along with more interesting toppings all weekend long. Celebrity judges will have the difficult task of deciding who makes Ottawa’s best traditional and exotic poutines.
“The Great Canadian Fork Off has begun!” say Les Gagne, Executive Director of Sparks Street. “It’s time to find out who has Ottawa’s best poutine!!”
People with big appetites will have their chance to be a part of history by competing in the first amateur poutine eating competition in Ottawa! For people looking to enjoy several different poutines, a Poutine Passport will be available on site. To get the dish on all the tasty details, visit: sparksstreetmall.com/poutinefest
