Deborah Davis and her band Segue to Jazz will be joined this year by CTV Ottawa Morning Live’s Stefan Keyes, returning Jazz great Michael C. Hanna (Detroit born son of pianist/composer Sir Roland Hanna) and former world tap dancing champion, the dynamic Darin Kyle for their annual tribute to Black History Month.

“The Gift of Jazz was a spectacular show! The vibe in the room was electric. The band was superb, the singers outstanding, the room was hopping. People were singing, laughing, crying, swaying back and forth totally in love with the production. A full house!! …WHAT A GIFT…an innovative way to introduce the audience to Black history … Always nice when a show absolutely exceeds your expectations … This was an evening to remember.” (Audience reviews of last year’s performance)
“Black History Month provides an opportunity to share and learn about the experiences, contributions and achievements of peoples of African ancestry.
Making contributions that have a lasting, positive impact where our customers, clients and employees live and work is the driving force behind our Community Giving program,” says André Lucas, Manager Community Relations TD Bank Group. “This particular sponsorship affords Canadians a tremendous opportunity to celebrate our country’s rich and diverse history through a musical experience.”
