“It’s a good time to come out. The colours are beautiful. The weather is usually really nice. It’s just a nice opportunity to step out of the city and relax out here,” said Chris Grout.”It’s much prettier in the fall, and it’s a nice tradition that we’ve started,” Harpur added.
Traffic and parking are usually a challenge on the Thanksgiving Monday, said Grout. In previous years, many of the free parking lots through the park were full. Melissa Landel, her husband, Israel Martinez, and their 17-month-old daughter Ema also came.
“We’ve been to the park before but never to the estate,” said Landel.
