EMC entertainment – They wowed several hundred during a July concert at Fitzroy Harbour Provincial Park. Now, one month later, the popular Mick Armitage Band returns to West Carleton where they will open the third annual ‘Kinburn Swampfest’ Friday Aug. 24.
This time around the band brings their “Rockin’ Our Lives Away Tour” to Kinburn Community Centre. The show begins at 8 p.m.
Kinburn Swampfest is an end of summer musical extravaganza that features some of the best entertainers in the region. From classic country to alternative rock, there is a genre to suit every musical taste!
This year’s event runs Friday night, Aug. 24 through Sunday, Aug. 26. Swampfest is a major fundraiser for the Kinburn Community Association. There will be entertainment for people of all ages including magicians, clowns, a reptile display, dog agility demonstration and a Harley Davidson motorcycle exhibit. The three-day venture also features a marketplace for local vendors and organizations.
