Magnetic North Theatre Festival’s Ken Cameron to speak with Women’s Canadian Club
Ken Cameron, playwright and artistic director of the national Magnetic North Theatre Festival, and a Dutton native, is to speak Feb. 11 in London, Ont., at the monthly meeting of the Women’s Canadian Club.
The Calgary resident who is author of 15 plays including award-winning Harvest staged last summer by Port Stanley Festival Theatre, is to speak on Pumping Cultural Oxygen into the Canadan Bloodstream.
Founded 100 years ago in 1910, the Women’s Canadian Club, London is the largest Canadian Club in Canada, celebrating Canadian people and culture.
Cameron’s talk is 2 p.m. at Centennial Hall with a reception to follow. Non-members are welcome. Tickets at the door.
