Another big Ottawa summer festival is in full swing, as Italian Week celebrations shut down 15 blocks in Little Italy Friday night.
The annual event brought food, fast cars and families to Preston Street as the festival entered its final weekend.
“It brings all the cultures together, Preston Street opens up and gives us a great opportunity for businesses to come out on the street,” said Helen Perseo. “Everyone gets together and tastes all the different tastes of Italy.
“It’s a nice time for the family, you can walk, eat, enjoy music,” said Alexandra Katsov. “I love Italian music.”
