By Richard Todd, The Ottawa Citizen
Canadian pianist Louis Lortie and Belgian violinist Augustin Dumay gave an unusually interesting concert Tuesday evening at Dominion-Chalmers. The bulk of the program was given to violin and piano sonatas by César Franck and Richard Strauss, but it began with two short pieces by Debussy played by Lortie. Although they were undoubtedly included as makeweights, they were pleasing on their own account.
