Petrie Island taken over by Caribbean flavour Saturday
This Saturday, get out your most colourful outfit, your dancing shoes (or should we say sanadals) and your desire for a good time. Carivibe is back and will be storming Petrie Island, this Saturday, June 16.
“It’s going forward rain or shine,” said co-founder of the festival, David Mason. “We’re going into our third year and we’re hoping Mother Nature’s on our side.”
Mason was on hand to see the Orléans Festival move forward with a well executed rain plan. “It’s something we’ve worked on and are continuing to work on over this week. Eitherway, we’re going to try and make it the best Carivibe festival yet.”
