Air Show Ottawa Golf Tounament
Just a reminder of the our first annual golf tournament on Friday Sept 18th, 2009 at the GlenMar Golf Course at 12:30pm. Cost was originally $105 but has been reduced to $90.00 as result of some negotiation with the GC, and to entice more participation.
We are holding this golf tournament in an effort to keep the show going in 2010 and subsequent years. 2008 was difficult financially as a result of poor weather, necessitating cancellation in 2009 and our intent is to ensure patient creditors are satisfied as well as plan for an even in 2010. This show is not only an Air Show, but our way of showing appreciation to our veterans and contributions of serving Canadian Forces in whatever capacity they may be involved. As the nation’s capital, Ottawa should be leading the way in doing this, thus our attempts to keep the show going.
Your participation as golfers or simply distributing this email to friends who golf would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in reaching our goal. Participants are asked contact me ASAP regarding registration and to wear something “red” on tournament day, in support of our Canadian Forces in Afghanistan.
