The 3i Summit 2010 draws on the life work, dreams and inspiration of dozens of Ottawa’s most dynamic innovators. Just like we did in the inaugural 3i Summit 2009, we will bring together a unique blend of world renowned architects, artists, Olympic athletes, poets, award winning professors, musical prodigies, homeless people, writers, youth activists. Each of them will be sharing, in 15 minute presentations, their passions, struggles and dreams for Ottawa in 2049 and one concrete action that can be taken to achieve that dream.

Canada’s Festival of Ideas since 1997. The Writers Festival celebrates the world’s best writing from home and abroad with a diverse program that presents interactions with leaders in the worlds of science, history, poetry, politics, spoken word, economics, drama, fiction, biography, music and more. One World Film Festival is an annual event showcasing outstanding and inspirational films and videos about our world. The festival is a platform for filmmakers and the public to exchange ideas and information about issues of social justice, human rights and the environment.

The Richmond Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit volunteer organization whose mandate is to promote agricultural awareness to the community. This is accomplished by generating revenues from grounds and facility rentals, livestock shows, dog shows, grants and other fund raising events held throughout the year in support of the annual Richmond Fair held the third Saturday weekend in September.

Richmond Fair – “A Country Fair Where Town and Country Meet” – will celebrate 166 years of continuous operation on September 16, 17, 18, 19, 2009.
