When Tony Priftakis was looking to drum up business for his Gatineau-based restaurant, Le Buffet des continents, his marketing director would leave the restaurant and seek out the places where tour buses congregated, armed with a stash of $25 gift certificates.
“If people are looking for somewhere to eat, the bus driver can say, ‘I know a place. I’ll bring you guys.’”
