Ottawa, August 3, 2012 – According to actress Susan Sarandon, ping pong is one sport you can excel at regardless of \”age, body type, and gender.\” So high skill, low skill or no skill, why not join us on September 28, 2012 for the third annual Verdun Windows and Doors Ottawa Charity Ping Pong (OCPP) Tournament supporting four valuable local charities – Do it for Daron, The Youth Services Bureau, Operation Come Home, and Christie Lake Kids. In addition to finding a new title sponsor, Verdun Windows and Doors, this year\’s OCPP tournament has a new home in Ottawa\’s Historic Byward Market at the SpinBin.

Kirkpatrick also noted that \”Susan Sarandon is really on to something, I\’m 32 years old and recently entered my first ping pong tournament and summarily lost to an eight year old in the second round – sure it\’s humiliating, but I still had fun!\”
