The National Arts Centre has appointed Sarah Garton Stanley as an associate artistic director for its English Theatre.
Stanley has developed a reputation for development of Canadian theatre, the NAC says in a news release. She has been dramaturg on several projects with the new NAC English Theatre Artistic Director Jillian Keiley, including her recent production of Oil and Water and the Governor General Award-winning Afterimage both from Artistic Fraud theatre company of Newfoundland.
